Jijnasa Inaugural Session at IIM Jammu

Jijnasa, the youth preaching division of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, is building awareness of the divine teachings of the ancient Vedic scriptures among students of some of India’s premier institutions. Young, thoughtful minds invigorated with the pure principles of truth enunciated in the Bhagavad-Gita and other Vedic literature, will be empowered in due course, to infuse a transcendental value system in society that will herald a new era of peace, and righteousness produced by spiritual endeavor.
The Jijnasa program consists of 19 seminars, focusing on subjects of vital relevance to every human being. Each Jijnasa program commences with an inaugural session that is designed to enthuse the students about the content of the program.

Recently on 5th September 2017, the inaugural session of Jijnasa was held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu. There were two speakers at the event, Ajay Madan, Director –Operations, Akshaya Patra Foundation and Shuklambhara Dasa, Vice President, Community and Youth Outreach, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir. The session was about “Happiness Management.”
65 students participated in the inaugural session. The active involvement of the students was very heartening. The program shows real promise for implanting powerful seeds of spiritual perception in these young minds.
